School Closure Contingency Plan - Essential Workers

Mini Camp Care

During the COVID-19 emergency, we have adapted our TeKniK LAB in Kendall to host special Mini Camps where kids from parents who are on the front lines of this crisis, can get their remote learning activities done, play with friends and learn more through technology based workshops. Mini Camp Care spots are very limited and available only to those parents that work for Essential Businesses and the healthcare industry. We strictly adhere to CDC Guidelines regarding number of campers and daily disinfecting procedures. As a safety measure, no parents are allowed to enter our LAB during camp times.

Camps are scheduled on a weekly basis and registration is done week by week. This service as an aid to our community, families and parents, who are working to defend us during the crisis and can’t keep their children in a safe and entertained environment during the day. The weekly fee collected is designated to pay our operational needs and teachers. We are not making any profit from this program.

To keep in mind:

  • No kids displaying “sick” symptoms will be admitted.
  • Camp times are from 8AM to 6PM. Monday to Friday
  • Limited to 20 kids (two groups of 10 kids according to CDC Guidelines)
  • Unique all day weekly fee: $100.00
  • No refund policy in place
  • We are not liable in any case for sickness or injuries caused by attending our camps.

It takes but one positive thought when given a chance to survive and thrive to overpower an entire army of negative thoughts.

I have an 8 year old son and this is his 1st time going to Bricks 4 Kidz for the summer camp. He had a lot of fun on this past week (his 1st week) and he is so excited to continue the summer there. I wish I was able to attend when I was a kid but I am living it through him. Lina is awesome and I highly recommend her as well as the place.
